Acer, famous for their great range of netbooks and notebook computers are never ones to lag behind when looking for new angles. And this time they’ve teamed up with the designers at F1 aces Ferrari to come up with the Acer Ferrari netbook – or is it Acer Ferrari notebook? Have a look at the spec and tell us what you think.

The Acer Ferrari features a 12.1 inch widescreen display same as our Samsung NC20 netbook, so in our eyes it’s a netbook. But it features a processor with a lot more poke than the Samsung netbook’s Intel Atom -  the AMD Turion double core – and to some people’s minds the improvement on the Atom makes it a notebook rather than a netbook.

4 gigs of RAM and 250 gigabytes of fast hard disk built in mean that this Acer netbook comes with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, and if you buy one of these beauties now, you’ll get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it becomes available.

The style of this Acer Ferrari netbook is quite something to behold, with the famous prancing horse of Ferrari proudly displayed on the netbook lid and the curves and angles sporting that Ferrari chic and unmistakeable Italian style that makes Ferrari such a sought after sports car.
