Do you use a netbook case or cover?

Now the idea of a netbook like the Samsung NC10 (my favourite netbook) is that it’s small and light and portable and you can just sling it into your backpack/handbag and take it anywhere with you. So that’s exactly what I do. I’ve got this great Prada handbag that’s big enough for everything I need with me from day to day (including the kitchen sink), so I just pop my NC10 in there and forget about it.

What I forget about is that a lot of you guys don’t carry handbags or backpacks, and certainly nothing big enough for a netbook. So when my friend Rob told me he’d just got a case to protect his white NC10, I thought it might be a good idea to share it with you guys out there.

The netbook cover Rob bought - which he’d have bought at the same time as his white NC10 if he’d though about it, is an impressive buy, and provides classy but good protection for his netbook for - wait for it - about £14 including delivery from Amazon.

This netbook case is build exactly to fit a 10.2 inch screen, and there’s even room in there for your charger.

It protects the outside of your netbook from those little scuffs and scratches that you get from just carrying it about, and the memory foam padding will also guard against knocks and banging about.

Rob looked all round the main retailers, but ended up back at Amazon purely on price and quality grounds.

So if you need a cover for your 10.2 inch netbook (and if you’ve not yet ordered your NC10, buy the cover at the same time), then you could do worse than have a look at this one.
