This is something we’re often asked, so here’s a little reminder just how much video, music, photos and anything else you can store on your netbook disk and carry around with you wherever you go.

The Samsung N110 netbook has a huge 240 Gigabyte disk

Now obviously the exact amount of music tracks you can store on your cheap netbook depends on how big each track is, and so on. But here are some rough guidelines that won’t be far wrong, so you know just what the capacity of your new netbook is likely to be.

The standard netbook has a hard disk of 160 Gigabytes.

160 Gigabytes will let you store 640,000 photos. Or 3,000 hours of music (or about 4,000 CDs full). Or 240 hours of video (that’s 480 episodes of Corrie!)

Our favourite netbook, the Samsung N110 with Windows 7 has a massive 240 Gigabytes hard disk.

240 Gigabytes means you can carry about with you nearly 1 million photos. Or 4,500 hours of music (yes, about 6,000 CDs). Or 360 hours of video (is 720 episodes of Corrie enough for you?)

So if you want to check out the lowest prices for our best cheap netbook, and get ready to store photos, music and video to your heart’s content, check out our cheap netbooks best prices here.
