Orange Fujitsu amilo netbook gets admiring glances

I’ve always had an eye for fashion, and that’s why the Fujitsu amilo netbook first appealed to me, with its sleek lines and custom colours.

So I was particularly pleased when the other day, sitting over my skinny latte in the local coffee shop and catching up on my emails on my netbook , this guy interrupted me and said he couldn’t help admiring the great orange netbook I was using. It might have been a great pick up line, but he seemed genuinely interested. And once he’d got over the colour (a clip on cover, so it was blue yesterday!) he was truly wowed by the non-glare screen.

Most cheap netbook screens these days have that glossy finish that makes them ultra reflective but the Fujitsu has this great non-reflective screen which means you can use it in any lighting conditions.

The screen and the orange cover made his own cheap netbook look dowdy, though you do have to be a bit flamboyant to get away with bright colours on your netbook. But I’m not as simple as you may think, so I wonder what he’ll do when he tries to contact my netbook on the Skype address I gave him and finds he’s talking to the local wheely bin cleaners instead!!
