We’ve all heard about repetitive strain injury – RSI – where too much fingerwork like typing gives you crippling wrist pains through wear and tear on all the fine nerves and connectors in your wrists.
Well if you do a lot of typing, even on a cheap netbook, then you’re at risk of RSI and many people I know like to use a netbook or notebook stand specifically to guard against this.
It’s been shown that by tilting the keyboard slightly upwards, the strain on the wrists is greatly reduced, and this great little cheap netbook stand lets you adjust the angle of your netbook keypad to whichever angle is most comfortable for you personally.
I find that this cheap netbook stand – and it’s only around a tenner including postage – is also good for presenting the netbook when I’m watching movies by raising the screen off the table, and gives a much better video viewing experience than leaving my NC10 netbook flat on the table. So why not give it a go and see how much easier it makes using your netbook. With the new term starting shortly, your typing skills are going to be put to the test on your netbook and it’s as well to be prepared. So check out this great little cheap netbook stand – you won’t regret it. And remember, of course, if you’ve got a larger notebook and haven’t yet discovered the benefits of a cheap netbook, then this netbook stand is also a notebook stand and will help prevent injury to your wrists on your notebook too.
