Acer Aspire One netbook rules in cheap netbooks war

Acer expects to sell over 13 million Aspire netbooks in the US in 2009, along with 8 million to the EU. The cheap but powerful Acer Aspire One series has been a roaring success and these netbooks have been falling off the shelves as fast as Acer could supply them.

In these credit crunch days, with the recession being felt worldwide, it makes sense to get as much bang for your buck as possible and the Acer Aspire One series netbook gives just that. It’s cheap, but looks anything but cheap and performance is up there with the best of them.

The Aspire One is compact, and offers the choice of 16GB flash memory for outstanding lightness and battery life , or 160GB Hard Disk for the ultimate in storage when you need to take masses of video and your whole MP3 collection with you to the far flung corners of the world.

So if cheapness and lightness is all, you have the A110 model, but for just a little extra you get all the oomph of the big disk A150 netbook.

I for one wouldn’t be without my Aspire One netbook, and it goes everywhere with me. Cheap, yes but only in price.
